Replacement right half for a standard two-piece dual-hose portable-AC window connector.
The complete connector is made from a left half and a right half that snap together and are secured with a screw. Once assembled, the connector sits between the portable AC’s existing hose plate and the window panel.
What the assembled connector does
Factory dual-hose window kits are typically designed for horizontal sliding windows, so the oval opening in the supplied extension panel is horizontal. The assembled connector rotates that oval connection to a vertical orientation, making it practical for vertical sliding windows, casement windows and custom window-panel installations.
Best practice for acrylic panels
For a custom acrylic panel, the assembled connector is mounted into the panel and the AC’s existing hose plate locks into the connector. This helps keep the AC hose plate from locking directly into the acrylic panel, reducing stress on the acrylic and on the four locking tabs used to secure the hose plate.
