Product Compatibility & Fabrication Resources

Last updated: September 24, 2026

Legal business: Aircon Kits is a division of Aircon Rescue Inc., doing business as Aircon Kits.

Aircon Kits provides specialty components intended for use in custom portable-air-conditioner panel systems. Customers and fabricators are responsible for confirming that a selected component is appropriate for their equipment, panel material and intended application before installation or production.

Product Compatibility

Aircon Kits provides product dimensions, hose-size information, connection details and other technical information to help customers select appropriate components.

Before ordering, customers should confirm relevant details including portable-AC hose size, hose connection type, panel thickness, required cutout dimensions, available mounting surface and compatibility with any third-party equipment or components being used.

Aircon Kits cannot guarantee compatibility with every portable-air-conditioner model, hose system, window configuration or third-party component.

Where a product is designed specifically around 5/32 in panel material, this will be identified in the applicable product information.

Dimensions & Manufacturing Tolerances

Published product dimensions are intended to assist with selection and fabrication.

Small manufacturing tolerances may occur between production runs. Where a dimension is critical to a fabrication process, customers and fabricators should verify the physical component before beginning a large production run.

We recommend testing the component and cutout arrangement before producing significant quantities of finished panels.

Fabrication Files

Production-ready adapter cutout files may be supplied with eligible Aircon Kits products.

These files are provided as a convenience to assist with panel fabrication and should be used with the corresponding Aircon Kits component.

Customers and fabricators remain responsible for confirming dimensions, material suitability and fabrication settings before production.

Receiving or using an Aircon Kits fabrication file does not affect the customer's eligibility to return the associated physical product under our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Fabrication & Installation Responsibility

Aircon Kits is not responsible for damage, poor fit or fabrication losses resulting from incorrect measurements, incorrect cutting or machining, unsuitable panel materials, use of an incorrect or modified cutout, installation errors, modification of an Aircon Kits component, use of incompatible third-party products, or failure to verify dimensions before production.

Fabricators should use appropriate equipment, materials and procedures for their particular production environment.

Hook-and-Loop Mounting Products

Aircon Kits hook-and-loop mounting products are intended for use on suitable, clean and properly prepared surfaces.

Performance and service life can be affected by factors outside Aircon Kits' control, including excessive heat, direct exposure to hot exhaust air, surface condition, improper surface preparation, installation method, environmental conditions, moisture, and normal wear and aging.

Aircon Kits is not responsible for melting, softening, discoloration, adhesive deterioration, loss of adhesion or other damage caused by excessive heat, improper installation, unsuitable surfaces, misuse or conditions outside the product's intended application.

Normal wear, aging and cosmetic changes resulting from regular use are not considered product defects.

Storage of Hook-and-Loop Products

Before installation, hook-and-loop products should be stored in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, moisture, heating equipment, hot vehicles or other high-temperature storage environments.

Prolonged exposure to excessive heat or unsuitable storage conditions may affect the adhesive or material before installation.

Surface Preparation

Before applying hook-and-loop mounting products, the installation surface should be clean, dry, free of dust, free of grease and oils, and free of loose or deteriorating material.

Customers and fabricators are responsible for ensuring that mounting products are positioned so they are not exposed to excessive direct heat from portable-AC exhaust components.

Product Changes

Aircon Kits may update products, specifications or fabrication files as products evolve.

Customers should use the specifications and fabrication resources applicable to the version of the product they purchased rather than assuming an older file or measurement applies to a later product revision.
